i went back to the Farnham church this morning, the one i went two years ago on christmas morning. arrived an hour early so decided to take a stroll to the old Tilford woods. the road to the place, the green, the lodge, the fields...
i miss this place and the memories it brings.

i like fogs. it makes the scene looks so relaxing and dream-like (well, cant say the same if i'm flying off and my flights are delayed/cancelled). recently london is shrouded by dense of fog which makes the city so beautiful, like some highland city instead. reminds me of Paris two years ago.
with this sheer amount of fog here, i bet it would be quite a scene in Edinburgh by now (despite the freezing cold that is).
at least fog doesnt kill someone (well, not directly at least), i heard malaysia is receiving quite a bit pouring lately and quite a few ppl actually died from the flood. shows we're still thrid world category no doubt.

suddenly it just occured to me i have 11 days of break from 23rd Dec to 2nd Jan. being away from home and everything, it caught up to me on a bit of a surprise and i have nothing planned for this 10 days break.
option 1 : was thinking of flying home for 10 days, then hopefully being able to fly back again for CNY. but suddenly the DTC london thing came back with XI requirement starting mid of Jan and for a estimated span of 40 man-days of work. office would like to hold me from my trip back during CNY by having me to go back now. but i rather pass over this trip home for christmas, for a chance to get back during CNY.
option 2 : was thinking of joining the volunteers to the remote scottish island and help maintaining the historical remains there (i saw that on the bbc program- Coasts). cold and remote and away from civilization... a perfect way to spend christmas being here. then again, i tried browsing bbc episodes guide for the name/contact for the place but couldnt get it. so no island christmas for me.
option 3 : europe backpack. not the best time to be going around. it's rather cold and miserable to be backpacking now, unless having a good company to go with. and the skii resorts are at a cut-throat prices now... that and i dun think go skiing alone will be such a good idea. again, company matters.
in the end, i guess il resort to sleeping, serving time on ps2, cooking, boxing day shopping, xi revision, and fill up my phone with as many applications i can find. anyone any ideas on things to do on christmas breaks?

i mailed some packages back home on the 16th. and instead of the courier service i just mail it with RoyalMail like i always used to. the cut off date to arrive before christmas is the 8th of december, hence none of them presummably arrive yet. i just hope they do arrive finally.

7. went british bar hopping
8. got drunk and puke by the road side. (after having thai)
9. so drunk couldnt find the way back to hotel.
10. being "kidnap" to a lapdance club
11. met lots of amazing ppl from numerous client's site : ssl/warburton/elyo/s3/honeywell.
12. got very worried when a friend was admitted to hospital for surgery (while i'm seven seas away).
13. seen my first autumn.
next year resolution.

1st December.
2 years ago...
1. Raymond came in late first day (and dem kan jiong).
2. Guan cooked delicious pak zham gai for christmas (with his macho cleaver).
3. Rachel got high on new years' eve and sing/dance on a chair (along with her two best mates)
4. Yvonne chop off her finger (and wonder if it'll ever grow back)
5. Yokiee woke up on 4am and vacum the lodge (with her also sleepless housemate).
6. Scott fell dem kao lat sick and missed his barcelona trip (and no one believed him at first).
7. Denise attended Hokkien class during japanese class (which we laughed so hard it annoyed the teacher).
8. Ivory being the vicitmized passenger of an initial-D lesson (on the last day!).
9. Arlina constantly getting harassed to explain what a table header line does (and done most of our debugging).
and half of us met the first time at Chillies in 1U after long chatting in the internet (anticipating the winter in uk) after getting know each others being employed into SAP Academy 1.
time flies. happy 2 years' anniversary guys. :)
(that was a good 730 days spent, so thanks for all the memories).
p/s : i wonder how long will they be keeping this mailing group available.
