well. i passed my certification today. despite the odds and any logical senses (if this is not divine intervention i dun know where the blessing came from). and "coincidencely" some headhunter called me an hour later on sap jobs despite myself never updating the online resume since 2 years ago or given anyone my new profile. best guess is someone at sap tip them off or the database is rigged.
so, i just got my promotion. certified. my 350D markII. lowepro + victorianox. fully loaded ipod. big ass portable hddisk. ps2. a chain of high profile projects lining up. the great britania. and germany...
looks like im ready to go for the next adventure (hope things get better from here).
will be gone for a while (so i'll post this here). dun miss me!
havent been feeling so well lately... all the things going on these days probably taxed the body to a breaking point. after some beers at chinoz (while cheering for the malaysia team in thomas cup), i ended up having a bad migraine thus spending the weekend recuperating and (forcefully) reading up for the certification.
yokiee heading to sg loreal and denise leaving for cooper shanghai on mother's day. since ibm taipei is still on hold, i'm already snatched for another project in ze great brittania (scotland to be percise). so ticket's booked, im flying off on 19th again.
here's a checklist of things needed doing...
finish abap cert questions/slides
have the two tshirt printed
top up cellphone (maybe i should get one when i'm there instead)
stock up on space food
buy drawing pad and pencils (+photo print)
get 350D + tripod
get replacement for missing earphone's earbud
get new wardrobe (old ones finally collapse)

get new router (and download every episodes of killa 17)

con albert (office hardware/network support) into providing administrator rights and installin necessary softwares needed.

this trip could be of a longer period (SCL's XI for a month, EMI's May release for a month or two, followed by deep-reach's for another month, and then the uk GE's webmethod project for 18)... good thing is, according to company policy i m entitled to fly back every 3 months... that, or to fly someone over! :D. so, any hot chick wanna go uk? (and pay me a visit on the way?). it would definitely stir some bad rumours when the names whose flight are registered to visiting me in uk happened to be a different girl everytime round.

...so when i came back from singapore, the whole world thought i was gone... or went missing for good; i thought i was, or should be (in any worst case) gone by now at least. but the fact is that both taiwan ibm and uk ge project has been delayed and so i'm grounded again to prepare for my certification coming up on the 17th.
being tied to global resources means i shouldn't be attached to any local project, which recently just starting to gain momentum. hanging midair doing nothing for the moment and awaiting approval for suggested XI involvement in scotland. sadly, dire situation calls for serious surfing in order to fill up my daily 7.5hrs timesheet.

ol Justin came back for his brother's wedding and managed a meet-up. the fella got himself a new place in Sydney, a bling bling golf gti, and some pounds around the waist. seems like he's having a good life there afterall. ;)
