for the past few weeks lil bro have moved in and bunked in with me as his temporary work is just at kelana square -a stone's throw away. but the creepiest thing last night was that his cellphone rang with the melodious song he's using, (and much to my annoyance being woken up at 4am) instead of waking up to end the call he suddenly started humming along with the tune IN HIS SLEEP!!
crappy motorola phones kept beeping periodically if you have miss-call or messages unread, so i close his phone but the next morning when asked, it didnt even occured to him he had a call last night.
now whoever heard of sleep-singing till now? :D

will be heading to Singapore on Sunday till Tuesday attending further XI training, most of the hotels at Orchard seems fully booked (well, not exactly... but company still doesnt see fit to put me into emporer-king-suite rooms which cost roughly S$688 a night), i wonder what attracted the large amount of tourist this coming week?
i left singapore admin to decide a suitable accomodation for me, let's hope they aren't humourous enough to drop me in Geilang or some haunted motel.
singapore now, uk later... i'm cursed to work/travel alone. *sigh*

so i went back for sunday worship today, since it's easter special so i've decided to drag my two brothers along. too bad the sermon delivered sounds too sloppy/unprepared... maybe the church changed during the long absense, maybe it's us who've changed.

3 days ago. good friday. was asked to participate on a 18 months project for UK GE (something like our TNB i think). but after hearing the not-so-attractive technology involved (heavily on Web Methods, an ancient 3rd party component very much similiar to SAP's XI), and considering the fact putting 1 1/2 years onto something i might not ever work on again (nor if the product will even continue to exist after this 18 months period), i basically told management that i'm not "keen" (meaning dunwan) to go and if they still "insist" (order) myself to "participate" (submit), i'll have no choice but to go there and after 6 months - "proceed with my own plans" (resign). the managers seems to be aware enough that this project sucks and there's no way they gonna make me go there.
"nevermind, we understand. but let's just ask them for more details and we'll get back to you later"
"ok, you guys do that, and i'll reject you guys again later"
maybe i'm leaning on my advantage a little bit too much... recently been jokingly talking to the managers "say, what do you think bout Axon ah?". (note to self : Axon recruiter super AAA hot).
one fine day i'm sure to trip the wrong wire and everything will go really really messy. ;)
