Here I am. This is me.
Define blue.
some 1 and a half years ago i accidentally dropped me ixus v3 on the concrete tile whilst visiting putrajaya with lilian and gang, and all these while the lcd remains broken, first only showing partial display but eventually snuffed out the last bit of its purpose. two weeks ago, considering myself idling uselessly at home, i decided its bout time i send the crippled camera to have the broken parts replaced. it took Canon fking two weeks before i get a call from them to pick it up.
and to me surprise, i sent my 4 years old camera to get its lcd fix and now they're replacing it with a new camera! so the service center actually upgrades my ixus V3 (2x zoom 3.2mp) to a brand new ixus .50 (3x zoom and 5mp)! talk bout customer dedicated service :D. it's like playing rpg where you meet some legendary blacksmith and he level-up your sword, wooo hoo!
waking up early for penang tomorrow. nobody's driving so i might need to drive afterall (fking hate assholes who rivals my assness). have a blessed new year everyone.
mina san, akemashite omedetou gozaimasu!

home was fun despite the constant rain which in turn made home cool and restful... never enjoyed more catching up with mom and dad on current affairs, business, properties, and basically everything else. and Christmas in the old small town church i grew up in, despite the lack of breathe taking decorations/designs, or exciting performance, things which i would frown at if i find lacks of in kl churches... but outside of that we have local friends and families, old folks who knows us since we were kids, kampung ppl who speak in their own unique accent, and flocks of children whose mom/dad was our close friend shouting and giving frantic signs to guide their children running the show on the stage... alot of chaos but a whole lot of laughter. the whole christmas sermon was basically a big town get-together.
all was good, until the trip home that is. it happens that few days ago a train heading towards singapore was de-railed (due to unknown reason) and KTM (keretapi tanah melayu) had to pull all the sleeping-bunk seats coach from service (maybe the balancing was an issue). i ended up in the sitting seats, all the way to kl 14 hours in brightly lit coach and freezing air condition and worst of all - a walrus looking passenger who snores louder than a fking jetplane taking off. his snore is what i would characterize as a cross between klingon and a bullfrog in a mating season (then multiple that by 100), i was so tempted to walk infront and slap that mule awake.
anyway, im back, and resting until 3rd of Jan 2006. will be heading towards penang for the new year. would spend sometime thinking of the new year resolution.

for the first day of my holiday i decided to drop by telekom building in kerinchi and have lunch with my old henkel buddies (that and to check out Jan's sparkling pimped golf GTI). everyone is still the same, Iris, Jan and Andy... and ive also met the new consultants from china and india - robin and augustine, whom i've talked numerous times on the phone (who infact appears more friendly in real person than the name at the end of each email).
had lunch in midvalley and chat up on how the company and everyone is doing. denise was there onsite supporting henkel for 3 days as well, sat down with her working on a complex tax report for the rest of the day.
gonna go 1u tonight. lotsa christmas wish-list to fill.

the software factory manager arrived in the kl arm today, and in the morning im asked to join him and the apac manager for a discussion on the progress in emi project and kl team in general. mark recomend for my travel to uk picking up further procedures on emi and bsp knowledge in specifics. nothing has been confirm, so il still be around for christmas. dave also revealed that mark will be taking off early leaving for uk end of next week, had a chat with the scots before leaving office today, he expressed that having non-attachment was his least concern but gradually as he has been away for a while he tends to feel lonely not having someone to be able to talk to when he's down or pressure and he has to be constantly aware of what he's saying/doing with the ppl around him, and as life goes on in uk where everyone moves on, he started to miss his friends, alot of things happened when he was away whereby he would now like to be with them instead. the cold white hair 7 foot killer type guy, the same person who is so dedicated in his work and career development he basically spent most of his time in ascott reading performance tuning books... the same person who's now telling me there's life out side our work. which gets me thinking after the tendious schedule for the past few weeks which basically left me no space for anything else... reminds me of the people i should be seeing more often in life...
also, today is my last day of work for this year. im taking a two weeks off before coming back in 2006. probably go back home town or somewhere remote to severe myself completely from office and work related issues, then perhaps il do some oil painting shit or poetry (would most probably ended up with ps2 and organizing my ipod). anyway, merry christmas and happy new year everyone.

another amazing animation came out from gibli last year. and very much like other movies miyazaki wrote (namely princess momoko, spirited away), the movie always started itself in the middle of everything and ends just right about when you're starting to figure who is who and what's happening. apparently the uniqueness of gibli production is the ability to visualize the heights of imagination, creating breath-taking scenarios and places which one could only experience (or think they did experience) in a dream. sides, girl would probably like to know Takura Kimura stars the voice of Howl.

and if seeing it once on the computer is not enough, i've also decided to get a dvd version later, for collecting purpose. later coincidencely i stumbled across a huge origami blueprint for the complex Howl's castle (Which is quite challenging in relative to those i did from yamaha's origami site). it's a 67mb package containing both the blueprint and detail assembling instruction (email me if anyone interested for it). guess il have to go find that origami papers and secretly use me office's colour printer again. kekeeke.

insanely complex
another link of paper art, discover in paulie's blog.
current plans for christmas break :
1. go cameron/fraser
2. go hongkong.
3. finish abap performance programming book.
4. finish Howl's castle origami.
