Here I am. This is me.
Define blue.
let's see where life has gotten to at this point.
change of job role.
u know life has just gotten much more complicated when you find office telling you things which you're (strictly) not suppose to tell anyone else. unfortunately, the new role comes together with a degree of confidentiality, will be more distant with the rest than it already was. trying to get things done without complicating everything is a steep challenge itself. no guts no glory. pull this off and i'll be in a whole different dimension, got it wrong and im sure it'll cost me my head.
lost in space.
stupid fedex fked up my package. now my ipod probably lies hidden amongst many anonymous package in the shipment office, or ended up in the streets with some nigger trying to get a good bargain from an ipod which has the word "ryan sim" engraved on its back.
travel schedule.
will be busy for at least until end of january. to which after then, next stop were told to be either london (again), or tokyo.
home run.
will be taking a break home catching up with ma and pa. unfortunately, my luggage includes a laptop, a "how to manage quality abap development" book, and no ipod.

just had a meeting before the week ended, business with henky didn't go that well, the consultants basically suffered alot of unchargeble time with under-quoting work, lausy functional corresponses provided and cheap bastard always taking their work back to their internal dept after we provided the solutions. Management has seen fit for us to making our stance and start pushing them back (we're given authorization to piss them off), until they come to realize things the hard way. i've just sent out a letter, to which basically could be summarized to "fk you, stop giving us ur gawd damn crap", to a particular problematic consultant from china. management backed it up, no feedback from client yet. it's gonna be a war next week.
meanwhile, management made it official i'll be team leading the academy recruits, SDC-ing henky and overseeing the offshore work for emi.
a fking gamble if u ask me. maybe they want to close the regional operation so badly they send me to do the job.
china india or singapore, why do we always have problems with everyone?

James Blunt - You're Beautiful Lyrics
My life is brilliant.
My love is pure.
I saw an angel.
Of that I'm sure.
She smiled at me on the subway.
She was with another man.
But I won't lose no sleep on that,
'Cause I've got a plan.
You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw you face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.
Yeah, she caught my eye,
As we walked on by.
She could see from my face that I was,
F**king high,
And I don't think that I'll see her again,
But we shared a moment that will last till the end.
You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw you face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.
You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
There must be an angel with a smile on her face,
When she thought up that I should be with you.
But it's time to face the truth,
I will never be with you.

fking posers. (i thought this should be a tactical unit?)

while everyone holster their guns, fker rock just put it up on his shoulder like a fucking pirate and he fucking ownz the world

this guy just have to stop selling his retarded-eye-looks (reminds me of the gay guy from "Be Cool")
half the audience dunno the name "Carmack".
two third of the audience dunno the real meaning of "BFG".
none of the gamers realize the coinsidence of "pinky" monster.
not too bad if you ask me, from a gamer's perspective that is. (i was expecting it to be much crappier shit, like Wing Commander and Resident Evil).
p/s: i think the first person shit is a clever attempt.
here's what i picked up from stupidevilbastard.com
Looks like the trend of turning popular video games into movies is still growing. Movies have been announced based on Doom and American McGee’s Alice (a wonderfully twisted take on Alice in Wonderland) and now word comes that Jerry Bruckheimer Films is offering a seven figure deal to do a move based on the latest Prince of Persia game:
Yahoo! News - Jerry preps game plan for ‘Sands’
Deal includes a script being penned by game creator Jordan Mechner. John August is exec producing and supervising Mechner on the script.
Game, set in 9th century medieval Persia, tells the story of how a young adventurous prince who uncovers a dangerous artifact in a remote mountain kingdom and with the help of an enemy princess, must stop a despot from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy all mankind
Mechner says Bruckheimer’s “Pirates of the Caribbean” was a touchstone for the adaptation. “Rather than do a straight beat-for-beat adaptation of the new videogame, we’re taking some cool elements from the game and using them to craft a new story - much as ‘Pirates’ did with the theme park ride.”
August says the character of the prince is like a 9th century Indian Jones. “He’s fourth in line to the throne, with no shot of ever becoming king. So it’s given him permission to lead a very reckless and exciting life."
Also as if to prove that Hollywood is incapable of not repeating past mistakes, the folks at Warren Zide’s Anthem Pictures have acquired the movie rights to Namco’s Soul Calibur.
‘SoulCalibur’ battles to screen
The project will be Zide’s first under Sony-based Anthem, his equity-backed financing and production shingle. The video game story revolves around two warriors who are chosen by Shaolin monks to recover and destroy a powerful sword that has fallen into the hands of an evil prince who plans to use it to open the gates of hell and destroy the world.
Sands of Time I can understand as it’s pretty cinematic in its own right already and having Mechner writing the story helps, a lot. SC, however, is a friggin’ fighting game with only the thinest of plots behind it for crying out loud!
Other movies planned that are based on games include Far Cry, Fear Effect, Alone in the Dark, Deus Ex, American McGee’s Oz, Hunter: The Reckoning, Spy-Hunter, Fatal Frame, Silent Hill, Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem, Onimusha, Devil May Cry, The Getaway, MechWarrior, Driver, possibly Hitman: Codename 47, Metroid, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, possibly Metal Gear Solid, Max Payne, Crazy Taxi, Duke Nukem, and for reasons I’m assuming are drug related Pac-Man.
It’s actually getting to the point that the question should be: Is there a video game that hasn’t been licensed for a possible movie? How many of these projects actually see the light of day (let alone will be worth seeing) is still up in the air, but there’s certainly no shortage of hopefuls.

went to atria this morning, haven't been there for quite sometime. came across a Magic shop (wizards of the coasts) along the row of shop houses, hidden on the second floor. again, i found a group of closed community closely seated along a table discussing how far can the warrior move (according to the rule book). the old place run by an old uncle housed a great deal of role playing mechandice, figures/cards/books/comics. triggered my interests in the whole card game thing, gonna download the client and watch some online matches soon. also had lunch in an ol auntie-uncle hakka noodle shop, tasted quite good (but the lady admitted she aint hakka decendants).

note to sow : provide image in real A4 size 300x300 dpi, in .jpg or .gif (.png or .bmp if you need the shop fella to resize it for you). prices differ from print quality and with/wo tshirt. providing an image of a tshirt stating where the prints should go is also recomendable.

haven't had a chance to look into anything else much last week. since kate left for Honda, i've been re-assigned as SDC to Henkel since early of the week. and with the nature of Henkel, this week have been exceptional eventful. with most of the consultants tied to very much things of their own, i'm left with a new recruit i'm suppose to mentor while keeping Henkel/Emi at bay. stretched thin like butter over too many toasts, i've 28 outstanding incident with half awaiting my response before i left office on friday. on top of that, the many J2EE interview scheduled for next week. am kinda glad to have the two girls returning from uk helping out.
so now you guys know why i go out/updates/reply mail so less often lately.
note to self : need study for certification and netweaver soon.

was suppose to join seng hock and mark g for badminton today. instead, went to Sony Exhibition at kl convention center with my brothers. inside : a drooling 239k mini cooper, lotsa pretty show girls, a very annoyed/tired looking car model, new series of audio gadgets/cellphones (still, not an apple) and cheaper than expected sony car audio system. also bumped into a highschool senior of mine who's now working with sony marketting.
discovered DSLR prices has just dropped a big notch, thinking of getting one soon. also checked out tag heuer. great watches comes with a hefty price tag.
[pictures soon].
