Here I am. This is me.
Define blue.
the northern wind carried snow to Farnham yesterday, which got us pretty excited... and as if that wasnt enough, it snowed even heavier today. infact, it snowed first time in london since the past four years!
maybe it's sign to go home...
in office as usual, on the projector is Netweaver for today, with our new speaker looking/sounding much like phil collins. phin just told me on email that her housemate died few days before chinese new year, that and she's moving out of the house to stay in kl. for almost 10 years, she's finally leaving pj. think i gonna miss her more that i thought i would.
the sun is out amongst the breaks of clouds, but the snow is still falling.. soon all things pure and pretty will eventually turn dirty and messy.
oh yea. i need a gawd damn haircut.

sorry for the lack of updates, been busy lately, office throwing us bits and fragments of projects which got us fully occupied, guess someone in the office dun like seeing us having fun lingering around... that and the fact that someone in our group downloaded something nasty and caused a virus outbreak in the company network/servers. the infestation costed a two day operation shutdown... having every pc plugged from the network humming aimlessly and idling through the day, and alot of angry/sleep-deprieved network people rushing around giving us nasty glances everytime passing by. despite the big people telling us we're not to be blamed and that we dun know... but the fact that each consultant is known to be paid £750 a day AND this kinda shutdown hasnt happened in the past 6 years, tells me that we really got ourselves into big big shit this time.
nothing much during chinese new year here, i spend the day in the office tracing a notorious programme trying to figure where went wrong. us bunch of malaysian colleagues had a tuan-nian-fan (ala pot-luck) on the 30th night, i cooked ku lou yok... which amazingly turned up better than expected (and damn proud of it too), but technically everything which involves frying or roasting would turn up tasty im sure.
had a dinner with the asia pacific boss last night, a young and charismatic guy in his mid 30s. and a friendly chap too (in a sales personnel kinda way). spoke bout upcoming china and japan stratergy.
we'll be heading for isle of wight tomorrow. wish u guys could see the pictures, too bad sony imagestation stop providing the album sharing link. anyway, have merry rooster year.

had a "short" dialog with the boss this morning. talked bout numerous stuffs : plans, feedback, possible improvements, and requested for involvement in the asia market stratergy. also figured i would be doing much travelling here after, by the nature of this job. i hope i dun have to fly alone most of the time...

scar.
music/lyric/perform : missy higgins.
He left a card, a bar of soap and a scrubbing brush next to a note
That said "use these down to your bones"
And before I knew I had shiny skin and it felt easy being clean like him
I thought "this one knows better than I do"
A triangle trying to squeeze through a circle
He tried to cut me so I'd fit
And doesn't that sound familiar? Doesn't that hit too close to home?
Doesn't that make you shiver; the way things could've gone?
And doesn't that feel peculiar when everyone wants a little more?
so that I do remember to never go that far,
Could you leave me with a scar?
So the next one came with a bag of treats, she smelled like sugar and
spoke like the sea
And she told me don't trust them, trust me
Then she pulled in my stitches one by one, looked at my insides clicking
her tongue and said
"This will all have to come undone"
A triangle trying to squeeze through a circle
She tried to blunt me so I'd fit
And doesn't that sound familiar? Doesn't that hit too close to home?
Doesn't that make you shiver; the way things could have gone?
And doesn't it feel peculiar when everyone wants a little more?
so that I do remember to never go that far,
Could you leave me with a scar?
I think I realized just in time, although my old self was hard to find
You can bathe me in your finest wine but I'll never give you mine
'Cos I'm a little bit tired of feeling like I'll be the bad fruit nobody buys
Tell me, did you think we'd all dream the same?
And doesn't that sound familiar? Doesn't that hit too close to home?
Doesn't that makes you shiver; the way things could have gone?
And doesn't it feel peculiar when everyone wants a little more?
so that I do remember to never go that far,
Could you leave me with a scar?
Could you leave me with a scar?
